The Freshwater Five | 2021 - 2024
‘Five fishermen. £53 million worth of cocaine. An ongoing fight for justice.’ Produced by the award-winning Isle of Wight production company Deadman (later toured by HOUSE South East Theatre Network) The Freshwater Five is a folkloric true crime tale inspired by the Guardian’s Today in Focus investigative 6-part podcast series. From an Arts Council-funded research and development project the piece went on to a full South Coast tour (Theater Royal Plymouth, Lighthouse Poole etc) and a sold-out run at London’s VAULT Festival 2023.

SKINT Theatre | 2015 - 2017
A spiritual successor to the Madrid-based ‘Micro Teatro’ theatre festival model, SKINT Theatre was an annual festival, based in Bristol - dedicated to funding, developing and programming affordable (£4/show), astonishing short-form theatre by the region's most exciting artists. As Co-Artistic Director I oversaw programming, dramaturgical support and communications strategy for the 10+ yearly artists/companies who cumulatively delivered 180+ performances across each annual festival. Given the impact of the initial launch, the company worked closely with the Mayor’s office to secure spaces and the project was widely publicised as a highlight of the cultural calendar by many of Bristol’s leading online publications and forums.
This Play has Become Corrupted and Cannot be Opened | 2015
Part of a month-long experimental theatre residency at Hoxton Gallery in the heart of Shoreditch, the final piece received a week-long performance run as part of a trio of pieces entitled ‘Triptych in the Cities’ produced by graduates of the Royal Holloway MA Playwriting and Directing courses.
